· Rocky Mountain Group works in close
cooperation with Montana ranchers, military, and government agencies. We have more than 220,000 acres of
private land available for training exercises comprised of forest, mountain, cliffs, timber, prairie,
waterways, lakes, etc. This eliminates having to deal with the National Forest
and/or government agencies, environmentalists, anti-military folks, news media,
and all else. Operations can be conducted in a clandestine manner with no
threat of outside interference or blockage. Training in Montana provides
exposure to extreme outdoor conditions with relief support indoor facilities
within a short transport distance. ·
We will shortly have military (Montana National Guard Army
Aviation, 189th Aviation BN) surveyed LZ’s and DZ’s. This unit
provides outstanding support to multiple military units needing helicopter
support (Chinooks and Blackhawks). Certified / surveyed military water landing
DZ five air miles from RMG primary facilities. ·
Private helicopter support with Part 135 certificate……Bell 206 L3
seven passenger, and two smaller birds. ·
Private airstrip with Cessna 182 (shown in RMG office picture below) for message drops, surveillance,
etc. Several RMG staff members are Airline Transport rated fixed wing and/or
rotary wing pilots with many thousands of commercial hours, including military
and civilian, in aircraft ranging from small Cessna’s to large commercial jet
aircraft). ·
New 7000 square foot building for living accommodations and
mission planning, administration, etc. Facility can also be used for secure
inside storage of conex equipment ·
Company owned large forklifts, company owned large flatbed
trailers for conex transport ·
Back
country survival scenarios and training, cross country
skiing, climbing, horse and mule packing, wilderness medicine,
training coordination with one of the very best avalanche schools in
the nation
(located in southwestern Colorado…..training elevations 9000-14,000
MSL), and
all other back country skills as they relate to military demands and
requests. Scenarios are organized and planned with and by
our customers to meet their exact training requirements and goals. ·
Role
playing…… native language speakers available on request in
multiple languages and dialects, paint ball, simunitions, simulated
IEDS, booby
traps, intelligence gathering, hide site scenarios, multiple services
and
equipment to match specific training / mission requirements. Role
players
include current and prior military veterans (SOF & others) with
strong skills and war zone
experience, along with Montana State Troopers and members of other
federal & local law
enforcement agencies, working part time. Introductory
training into the use of tracking dogs as well as E&E from
personnel tracking dogs. Highly qualified dog teams are used in this
training phase. ·
Limestone Hills Training Area is
located seven air miles from RMG primary facilities. http://www.montanaguard.com/trainingsite/html/LH_EIC.cfm.
This site is 5 miles by 7.5 miles and contains
approximately 21,000 acres. The land consists of limestone composition, and
grassy sage brush covered mountains with a few trees in the lower areas. It
will accommodate the firing of Tanks, Bradley Fighting Vehicles, CEV, mortars,
artillery (sub caliber), machine-guns, aerial gunnery, and small arms, as well
as small unit tactical problems. The maneuver areas will accommodate two
company-sized units. Rocky Mountain Group will provide transport and
accommodation support as needed to support the mission. · High angle shooting range operated by RMG subcontractor.
